Our History and Success!
How it all began…
Heckington Junior Football Club fully established itself in the mid 90s following the restructure of the Lincolnshire Leagues. Having played in various colours over the years the Club’s official colours are now orange shirts and black shorts. We are an established FA Chartered Standard Club, an accreditation that is awarded to clubs rigorously adjudged to be well run, sustainable, and which provides qualified coaching. The Club prioritises child safeguarding protection, equality and diversity and implementation of the FA Respect programme.

The Club Committee, managers, coaches and volunteers pride themselves on being able to offer children the opportunity to play grassroots football in a safe environment, have fun and develop their football skills. The Club motto, ‘Teamwork Brings Results’, epitomises this commitment and dedication and also that of the players who proudly don the orange and black and represent the Club.

Throughout the years, it has produced grassroots teams from U6s to U18s and has established itself as an integral part of the Lincs Youth Football League and local community. The Club has had its fair share of success on and off the pitch as follows:

A continuing commitment…
With 4 teams competing in the Mid Lincs Youth League, it is important that the HJFC keeps growing from the bottom upwards and all children of all abilities are welcome. HJFC welcome anyone who wishes to get involved and help with coaching, managing, or fulfilling a Committee position to ensure sustainability. This commitment moving forward will allow the children in Heckington and surrounding villages the opportunity to actively play football, develop as an individual and as part of a team and most importantly, have fun.
